New Directions: from losers to winners
Images in the victory music-montage show the reversals of position and story that have come to some of the members of the New Directions over the course of year or more.
1. Instead of slushies in the face, a confetti victory parade.
2. Instead of being bullied, Kurt is embraced by the jocks.
3. Finn and Puck triumph over their senior year tormenter, Rick the Stick.
4. Instead of making fun of her, the Cheerios cheer for Rachel.
5. Becky and Santana, instead of competing for head Cheerio, give each other props.
6. Artie, who once stood in Santana’s way of being with Brittany and who hurt Brittany, is now embraced by both girls.
7. Santana and Brittany, who were stopped by Figgins from hallway PDA, make out in front of the school, cheered on by all.
8. Rachel and Finn, whose kiss a year ago kept the team from advancing to Nationals, now share an appropriately timed tongue-tied make out session, cheered on by all.
9. The New Directions gets its celebratory sparkling cider, as promised by Mr. Schue back in 2x14 Blame It On The Alcohol.
